Understanding Casteism
Casteism in India has gotten a lot of criticism, and rightly so. The way casteism is at present should not even exist. We should throw it out. Casteism as we find it today is now nothing more than a misrepresentation and misinterpretation of a legitimate and progressive Vedic system known as varnashrama. Stephen Knapp writes more.

Linguistics and Civilization
The proposed Aryan Invasion or Migration into India that most history books present as a fact so far has not yet yielded any solid evidence to support it. There is no archaeological, genetic, or literary evidence that shows it to be the case. On the contrary, existing evidence is of a continuous development of civilization in India since the end of the last Ice Age. David Frawley writes more.

Demystifying the Sufis
Perceptions are not history – they can never be. The facts, however, suggest otherwise. Folks’ Founder & Editor-in-chief U. Mahesh Prabhu Writes more.

An anguished narrative of Mahatma’s last days
Reading this book on the Mahatma’s last days is like re-living a painful period of Indian history. And Sheshrao Chavan has done justice to his theme. But the question may well be asked: how does anyone define anyone’s “last days”? The Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated in the early evening of January 30, 1948. India was then hardly five months old as an independent country. Should those five months be counted exclusively as the Mahatma’s “last days”? Or should we go back five long years to August 9, 1942 when the Congress passed its “Quit India” resolution and all leading Congressman were promptly arrested? Gandhiji was released on May 6, 1944, suffering from the after-effects of malaria and amoebic infections. MV Kamath writes more.

Letters from Gandhi to Hitler
Gandhi’s admirers are not in the habit of confronting embarrassing facts about their favorite saint. His critics, by contrast, gleefully keep on reminding us of a few facts concerning the him, which seem to undermine his aura of wisdom and ethical superiority. One of the decisive proofs of Gandhi’s silly lack of realism, cited by both his Leftist and his Hindutva detractors, is his attempted correspondence with Adolf Hitler, undertaken with a view to persuading Germany’s dictator of the value of non-violence. Belgian Scholar and Historian Koenraad Elst takes upon the ungrateful task of arguing that in this attempt, Gandhi was: first, entirely Gandhian, and, second, essentially right.
